Client Success Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Client Success Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Client Success Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the success and satisfaction of our clients, identifying opportunities for Blue Margin to support our clients’ strategic objectives, and cultivating long-term customer relationships. 

We are seeking a candidate to work as a full-time employee in our local office in Fort Collins.

Client Success at Blue Margin: 

The mission of the CSM team is to keep our clients happy and loyal, which is vital for retaining and growing our recurring revenue model. As a member of the team you would: 

  • Help our clients achieve their data goals 
  • Build strong and trusting relationships with clients 
  • Provide proactive support and education on how to get the most value from our offering 
  • Collect and share client feedback to improve our product(s) 
  • Collaborate with other internal teams to promote Client Success across BMI 
  • Continuously strive to become an expert on Client Success best practices 



  • Lead discussions with clients to understand their business objectives and align our services to support their goals 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor and advocate for their needs 
  • Act as the primary advocate for the client within Blue Margin, conveying their needs, feedback, and suggestions 
  • Promote value through exceptional customer interactions 
  • Review and address customer complaints and concerns 
  • Develop and maintain a data initiative backlog for each client to ensure continual alignment on priorities and demonstrate achieved business outcomes 
  • Proactively identify and pursue contract renewal and expansion opportunities 
  • Manage the administration of client contracts for renewals and expansion 
  • Use CRM tool to track expansion opportunities and support accurate visibility into the existing client deal pipeline 
  • Support internal capacity management by reporting on the demand from assigned client portfolio 
  • Lead cross-functional internal meetings to ensure collaboration, alignment, and progress 
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement & advancement of Client Success as a discipline within Blue Margin 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Business, Marketing, or a related field 
  • Proven experience in customer success, account management, or related roles 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills 
  • Customer-centric attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences 
  • Strong understanding of business strategy and project management principles 
  • Interest in analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, and / or AI 
  • Proficiency in using CRM and work management tools 
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and dynamic environment 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 

Salary and Benefits

  • This is a full-time position with a starting salary range of $65,000 - $85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications 
  • Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, short- and long-term disability, matching 401(k), health club stipend, paid vacation, sick leave, and a bonus structure

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • This position may require minimal physical effort including lifting materials and equipment of less than 10 pounds. This position requires viewing a computer screen more than 80 percent of the time. The job will take place in a normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions. This position may require some travel and occasional participation in off-site functions.
