Jon Thompson is co-founder and Senior Partner at Blue Margin Inc.
An author and speaker, Jon sheds light on how businesses can take advantage of a revolution in business intelligence to become data-driven and accelerate their success. By employing the tactics of The Dashboard Effect (the title of his book), companies can become data-driven by increasing shared accountability through the organization and improving focus on the value-creation strategy.
Jon's career began in Botswana, where he spent two years working for the Peace Corp as a game warden. Upon returning to the US, he traded the wilds of Africa for the jungles of corporate America, spending the next 25 years as an entrepreneur and business executive.
He and his brother, Brick Thompson, have founded several companies, including Vercuity, which grew to over 500 employees and was backed by One Equity Partners.
