Tyler Alvarado

All-around Academia

Tyler Alvarado earned his MS degree in Higher Post-Secondary Education from Syracuse University (Go Orange!), and BS in Psychology from Central Michigan University (Fire Up!). He began his career working in student affairs and academia, bouncing between working directly with students to providing continuing education for practicing veterinarians. Throughout these experiences, his focus has been using data to improve business decisions. That focus, and his personal values of education, hard work, and teamwork make him a great addition to the Blue Margin team!

Fierce Competitor

Tyler is very competitive. Whether it be golf, pickleball, soccer, or slow-pitch softball, he always pushes to be the best! In addition to sports, Tyler loves grilling, local craft beer, fishing, and spending time with his wife, Megan, and 2 large dogs, Oslo (Bernese Mountain Dog) and Otis (Bernese Mountain Dog/Golden).

Bullseye

Tyler once attended the Festival of San Fermin in Pamplona, Spain and participated in the Running of the Bulls. He says it was extremely exhilarating and an experience he’ll never forget!
