Helping Hands at the Harmony House

By Amanda Mann on May 17, 2020 5:16:19 PM

Earlier this summer, we were contacted by the CASA of Larimer County Harmony House for help with a special project – disassemble a play structure from a donor, move it, and rebuild it at the Harmony House. Matt Dunn, our PMO Lead, rose to the challenge! He generously volunteered over 22 hours of his time to make sure the play structure was solid and safe!

In August, our Blue Margin team got together for a group volunteer event with the Harmony House. There were several projects, so we split up into smaller groups to get it all finished! We filled sand bags to help stabilize a canopy, took apart old electronics for recycling, organized the storage bins in the basement, made decorations for an upcoming program, and moved furniture. We heard some amazing stories about the impact of the Harmony House, and we learned about the mission of CASA of Larimer county: “to be a voice in court for abused and neglected children and a safe place in the community for conflict free interactions.” There is a great need for more CASA and Harmony House volunteers.
